This week I went to the mature and mobile exercise class at our local sports center.
Admittedly I was the youngest one there, but probably not the fittest. There are some pretty agile 60 and 70 year olds around!
Anyway, for a small fee, we had access to the well-equipped gym, an aerobics dance class, table tennis, badminton, carpet bowls and archery, PLUS we got tea and coffee.
I thought it was great, especially as it got me off this computer for a few hours.
The trouble with working for yourself and setting your own hours is sometimes you never know when to stop.
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE bargains, so when someone offers me the opportunity of attending a GIVEAWAY , my eyes really light up.
So, what’s a GIVEAWAY?
Well, basically it’s a central location where you can get a FREE gift if you hand over your name and e-mail address, or sometimes just your e-mail address.
There are two types of people who go there:-
The first is the contributor who has something of value, which they are prepared to offer for free with the intention of building a “list”.
When Garry Parkes with the two “r’s” made a spoof video for a homework assignment as part
of Alex Jeffreys first coaching course, he was nervous.
You’d never guess from watching it.
Garry, who for weeks hid behind an image of an eye as his avatar because he was afraid to expose his identity really went to town with his video.
It was the first time anyone had seen his face.
He displayed his personality and unwittingly made a self-fulfilling prophesy.
He said he’d be a super star and he is…at least for many of the other coaching students.
