Like most families these days we have a digital camera – actually we have three!
The benefit of this type of camera is you can take a photo, look at it, and if you don’t like it, you can delete it straight away and take another one. You can then upload the photos to your computer, share them with friends or print them off. It’s very quick and convenient, but sometimes you can forget to delete them.
My son got married at the weekend and as much as I love him and his new wife, I am concerned about their weight.
Since they’ve lived together they’ve both “blossomed” for want of a better word and although people say gaining weight is a sign of contentment, it’s also a sign of ill health.
I’m particularly concerned because they are both carrying a LOT of weight around their tummy areas, and apparently there’s considerable evidence to suggest that can be a contributory factor in the development of Alzheimer’s disease.
Currently I have my mother-in-law staying with me and she suffers from that.
I don’t do “posh” and since my autistic son was born, twenty two years ago I haven’t done heels either.
I’m much more comfortable in jeans and flip-flops, but my eldest son is getting married on 25th June so I’ve got to make an effort.
Finally, I’ve bought an outfit and this week sees me tottering around in heels in the hope I won’t break my ankle on his big day. I’m supposed to be doing a reading and don’t want to do something stupid as I walk up to the front of the church.
