Yesterday I had a chat with rookie entrepreneur Darren L Carter, who is currently teaching English to young children in a farming village in Japan.
This was his very first interview, but I doubt it will be his last. He’s a really nice young man with a very wise head on his shoulder.
In July, his teaching contract will end, and before then he wants to get 1455 on his “list”. He explained why he chose such an unusual number in our call.
You can listen to it on his page on JeansBestRecommendedProducts.com
Darren is an action taker and believes you should learn from everyone and every experience.
This week he’s going to interview a very wise, inspirational gentleman who survived the Atom bomb in Hiroshima during the First World War.
Darren is going to make the interview available to anyone who joins his list.
If he’s as good at asking questions as he is at answering them, it’s bound to be something well worth listening to, but he’d like your help in deciding what questions to ask.
You can help him by quickly heading over to his blog and offer a few suggestions.
Oh, and while you’re there, sign up for his list == =>http://www.DarrenlCarter.com /blog
but…
…listen to the interview first so you can discover the meaning behind the Japanese phrase –
“Underneath The Lighthouse Is Dark”
Enjoy!

Hi Jean
Great interview…
Just came over from Darrens blog to listen, I agree he is an interesting young man. I have just had a 10 hour power cut so I know how you feel with the intermitent conection. I didn’t think I would miss the PC but…
Got a lot of catching up to do but it was nice to read that people in the UK are ready to help re the celery.
I hope you Mum is OK. My parents are in their 70′s and are tough also but strange how the roles reverse regarding who looks after who

Hi Vince,
Yes, thank goodness they were up, albeit not dressed otherwise the result with the celery could have been completely different.
You’re right about role reversal. I always thought once I got middle aged, life would be easier and I’d have less responsibilites. Still. no complaints. I have a lovely family and love them dearly.
Yes, Darren does seem a nice young man with a lot to offer. Everyone has really, they just don’t realise.
Take care,
Jean
Hi Jean,

I just came from Darren’s blog, so I already left him a comment.

Hi Jean! It was a lot of fun doing the interview with you. Thanks! You really helped put me at ease throughout the interview (my first ever) and overall were just enjoyable to talk with!
And thanks to everyone else for the kind words.
Peace,

You were very easy to interview and I’m sure you’ll be doing many more.
