Link Money

If you do anything on the internet you’ll know people use various tools to shorten their hyperlinks.

Not only are shortened links easier to type into browsers, but they also disguise affiliate links, which tends to make them more

clickable, and prevent affiliate  theft.

I know, it’s pretty petty, but some people just can’t bear the thought of anyone else benefitting from their purchases, even though  it costs them no more.

Anyway, two of the most popular FREE ones are TinyUrl.com and Bit.ly, both of which are brilliant.

They’re particularly good if you use Twitter as that only allows you 140 characters for each “tweet”, although it seems that’s actually going to have its own link shortening service soon.

It’s going to be known as twt.tl  and will give Twitter more control over the disguised links to ensure they don’t go to porn sites, etc.

Google have  their own weblink shortener  – Goo.gl,  Facebook have FB.me,  and You Tube have YouTu.be, so clearly it’s the type of popular service everyone uses.

The thing is, at the moment it’s just convenient, not lucrative.

However, one clever entrepreneur, highly respected marketer Nikhil Parekh, has just introduced a way to shorten links AND generate income at the same time, WITHOUT being perceived as being one of those awful pushy “seller” types.

It’s called linnk.me and you can join for free here – LINK MONEY

Of course, like all programs there’s an opportunity to upgrade to become a paid member, but you don’t have to.

It’s all clever stuff and well worth a look.

As you can tell from this blog post – I did!

Take care,

Jean
