Here's my absolute favourite company - GVO - hosting with a difference!

Kaboom!

Okay – who coined the phrase first?

GVO or Michael Cheney?

Kaboom is not a word I’d ever come across until recently, and now it seems I hear it everywhere.

Unless you’ve been living on a different planet to me, you will undoubtedly have heard of GVO.

Apparently, Twitter and Facebook are inundated with posts about what is destined to take the internet and marketing world by storm, but incase you don’t actually know what it is, there’s a page about GVO on this site.

Currently it’s in pre-launch and a lot of time being spent creating the “buzz” in anticipation of the actual launch. What I find enlightening about the whole thing is

Joel and Mike are being really upfront about it all, and revealing exactly what they’re doing and why to anyone who has opted in to the $1 for a 14 Day Trial.

There’s no hype

If you want to see what I mean you can watch the videos Joel Therien has created, and that would be a good idea, because Joel and Mike give out an awful lot of useful information for FREE. (I know for a fact, many guru type marketers charge huge amounts of money for the same thing, because I’ve paid for it!)

Kaboom!

Kaboom!

So what’s all this got to do with Kaboom?

Well, if you listen to any of the GVO “family”, you’ll hear that word a lot, and I have to admit I got a bit worried. I thought I’d got myself into some sort of cult.

Apparently, it refers to the sound of an explosion.

(Mind you, if you look it up on good old Google, it’s also a variety TV show in Mexico, a vitamin fortified cereal and an Atari 2600 game).

Anyway,it seems to be a GVO “thing”,and just about everyone involved in GVO utters it at some stage. Infact, they even shout it out sometimes!

Understandably, I thought GVO had come up with the word…

…BUT

I’ve just joined the Delta Squadron, which is the latest membership site to hit the scene, masterminded by one of my favourite marketers…

Michael Cheney.

I’ve been following him for a long time and I just love the way he gets his point across.

Yes, he’s long winded sometimes, but he tells great stories, and in this latest venture he makes references to lots of fairy tales and fables.

I recognise most of them, having watched them thousands of times with my autistic son, but he’s also introducing a military theme, and guess what word he utters in his marketing?

Yes…

Kaboom!

Now Michael and Joel are incredibly successful marketers, really enjoy themselves and have fun doing what they love,  so I’m wondering now whether I need to start using the word incase it has some sort of special significance.

What do you think?

Cover your ears, I’m shouting it out just in case…

KABOOM!

(Did you hear me?)

Take care
