mercury amalgamIf you live in the USA there seems  to be mixed feelings about President Obama.

It’s the same “abroad”.

Amongst my many e-mails this week I received two mentioning the President.

The first concerned the decision by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to allow U.S. farmers to proceed with planting genetically altered alfalfa without the restrictions  opponents say are needed to protect conventional and organic farm fields from contamination.

Apparently it’s because of various economic and environmental factors, but the decision allows GMO farmers to get their crops in the ground this spring.

Clearly organic farmers aren’t too happy about it and there are calls to protest to the Obama administration.

The company who produce the worlds first certified organic to food standards skin, body and health care products, and for which I’m an Independent Representative aren’t too happy either, which is why I’m mentioning it here.

The second e-mail, however, was a different matter entirely. It concerned amalgam fillings – well more specifically mercury.

According to the February issue of WHAT Doctors Don’t Tell You, President Obama has signed America up for the United Nations Global Mercury Partnership, which seeks to ban the mining and stockpiling of Mercury, which is describes as a “poisonous pollutant”.

That could mean eventually there could be a world wide ban on the use of amalgam dental fillings which contain mercury, and which are frequently described as “silver”  fillings.

Already in the US, six states have so far introduced “Informed Consent” legislation, which means the dentists have to reveal what’s actually in those shiny fillings, and some councils have requested they voluntarily stop using Amalgam.

Mercury is also used in batteries, thermostats, lamps and thermometers, but around 55% of all Mercury in commercial use in 2007 (according to the Environmental Protection Agency International Study) was in the mouths of patients  who had it in their teeth.

If the recommendations are adopted by the European Union, US and the other 150 participating nations, mercury is likely to initially be banned for use on persons who are mercury allergic, pregnant and under six.

However, Denmark, Norway and Sweden have already imposed a total ban.

According to Pam Clayton, an amazing lady who has set up a mercury Order Generic Levitra Super Active+ Online without Prescription helpline for people who’ve been affected by amalgam, and  whose full story is featured in my book Mercury Poisoning – It’s Not In Our Heads Anymore, these are the percentages of improvement experienced by 1569 individuals in 4 studies after the SAFE removal of amalgam fillings and heavy metal detox.

  • Fatigue 86%

Mercury vapours are released from the elemental mercury used in Amalgam fillings whenever we chew food or brush our teeth, which can affect our brain and kidneys, and if you’d like to see evidence of the vapour being released go to my mercury page on JeanShaw.com

Anyway, the jury’s divided about President Obama, but as a previous sufferer of mercury poisoning caused by my dental amalgams, I’m certainly pleased about his action regarding mercury, and so should you be.
