Okay – as I told you I have a mentor.  His name is Alex Jeffreys and  he’s young enough to be my son.

Another thing you should know about him is he’s possibly an undiagnosed dyslexic and believe me, he can’t spell. Also, he’s not technically minded BUT he gets results and he has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt you don’t have to be an expert in everything to be successful.

When I used to be a support teacher for children with learning  difficulties, I met many students with dyslexia. I wish I’d known Alex then because I would certainly have used him to encourage and inspire them.

Anyway, back to the e-mails.

Alex is successful because  he has systems in place. He doesn’t just get up in the morning with no idea what he’s going to do. He makes a list of what to do with the most important tasks at the top, and he doesn’t look at his e-mails until he’s completed  several of his tasks.

He only checks e-mails twice a day, and that’s what I do now.

It’s amazing how much time I’ve saved.

It’s a great tip – use it!
