Unquestionably, we’re all different, and in the wee small hours of this morning when I should have been in bed, I listened to Jerry Meyer on one of his famous GVO Monday Mindset trainings, discuss the four different personality types, which make us unique.
Knowing how to identify these personalities can help you communicate with people, which ultimately, could benefit your business and/or social life.
Anyway, provided I wasn’t too tired to take in the information, it appears we all possess traits of either an Analytic, A Driver, an Amiable or an Expressive personality.
The Analytical and Driver types are attached to logic, whereas the Amiable and Expressive make emotional decisions based on their feelings.
Another difference is The Analytical and Amiable types tend to be introverts, whereas the Driver and Expressive are more extovert.
To delve a bit further, it seems the Analytical personality likes things to be very precise. They dot the i’s, cross the t’s, tend to be a bit cautious, reserved, and appear somewhat serious.
The Driver on the other hand likes to be confronted and takes charge. Very assured, this personality listens to what needs doing and gets things done.
I’m an Amiable. I like to help people, would never hurt anyone or let people know they’ve hurt me. Friendly and loyal, the amiable person moves at a slower pace, but is very kind.
Finally, the Expressive, who certainly doesn’t hang around. Full of energy, this personality is nurturing, likes to party and is very effective in business.
So, which one are you?
