Did you grab any of the fantastic products in the Self Improvement 4 Giveaway, which started this week?

It’s only on for a LIMITED TIME, and runs from 5th to 19th January 2010 so when you have a moment I recommend you take a look.

The title of the event gives you a clue that all the products are FREE, but don’t clog up your computer with “stuff” you’re not going to read or use. That’s a mistake I’ve made in the past, but in 2010 I’m older and wiser!

Talking of wise, I’ve just read issue 23 of The Michael Masterson Journal, where he sets out goals he’d like his readers to achieve in 2010.

I really liked it because it reminded me of my favourite phrase in Bambi where Thumper’s mum tells him –

“If you can’t say something nice – don’t say nothing at all”

Anyway, here’s what Michael Masterson requests you commit to in order to become a better person –

*Pay less attention to yourself and more attention to other people
*Focus on opportunities, not problems
*Listen first, talk later
*Criticize only when your criticism is helpful
*Never speak badly about anyone
*Never complain about anything
*Perform an act of kindness every day
