On my 50th birthday I went for a “Free” lunch at a “posh” local hotel.
Over the years it has proven to be the most expensive meal I’ve ever eaten, BUT I don’t regret going for one second.
That meal completely changed my life.
It was provided by an internet hosting company and was my first realisation anyone describing themselves as an internet marketer didn’t necessarily sell stuff on e-Bay.
The picture painted was one of excitement, glamour, riches and the type of lifestyle most people can only dream about.
As a result I spent thousands of pounds buying websites and hosting with them, and wasted even more on recommended internet training, which promised the earth and delivered very little.
However, I was a “newbie”, completely naieve and very trusting.
I’m now older, wiser and with a different web hosting company!
The experience could have left a bitter taste in my mouth, but I don’t believe in living in the past.
Let’s just say I’ve learned from my mistakes.
It’s true, I’ve since spent even more money and time learning new skills, and made more mistakes than I care to mention, but that’s all part of the process.
Provided you don’t give up and continue to “fail forward” as Alex Jeffreys says, you’ll get your success in the end.
Anyway, that lunch set me off on a journey, which has not only expanded my knowledge, but allowed me to meet people from all corners of the world.
I couldn’t be happier.
That said, it’s certainly true there’s no such thing as a “Free” lunch, and whenever you see what’s deemed to be the most attractive word in the English language glaring out at you, it’s wise to be wary.
Things are seldom as they seem.
However, GVO, the web hosting company I use are now offering a FREE trial membership to their Titanium hosting package.
Of course, it isn’t free forever – just for 30 days, but that should be long enough for you to realise just what great value you get for your money.
Even at the full price of $44.95 per month it’s incredible value, especially as what’s on offer for free in your web hosting membership would cost you thousands of dollars elsewhere.
I know.
Remember, I’ve been there!
Anyway, these extras include such things as -
*Professional Autoresponder Service
*Professional Video Hosting Service
*Conferencing Software Solution
*Professional Internet and Marketing Training
and they’re all vital components to help you build up your professional online image and that important Know, Like and Trust factor.
If you want to change your life and set off on your own journey, I highly recommend you take this “FREE” lunch because I guarantee it won’t be anywhere near as expensive as the one I had on my 50th birthday!
