I’ve been “away” from the computer for some time and have just visited my son at his residential college. He has autism and it was lovely to see him in his new surroundings and meet his fellow students and IT’s.

No- he’s not a computer whizz kid and as far as Jodi is concerned, IT stands for Independent Trainer. They help him in the areas he will need for independent living.

Anyway, talking of independence – the reason I started on the internet was to become sufficiently independent to be able to support my son when he leaves college. In recent months though, I’ve spent so much time on the computer it’s affected my health and caused me to review my plans.

It’s not uncommon, I hasten to add, especially when you are presented with so many different ways to make money on a daily basis and it’s so easy to find yourself infront of the screen for hours on end without even realising it.

It’s not healthy, but it’s not uncommon. It’s easy  to find yourself infront of the screen for hours without even realising it.  Dan Briffa has just made an interesting post on time management which reminded me to get out my kitchen timer so I son’t make the same mistake again.

It was great  to have a break BUT when I saw the amount of e-mails which had accumulated during my absence I felt like giving  up completely.  Instead, I deleted most of them but couldn’t help noticing the amount from respected marketers promoting Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing 2.0.

Apparently anyone with at least one brain cell had to apply for this “free” package and it was being limited to 5000 packages, (although now I believe they are producing more). Of course, it wasn’t completely “free” because you had to pay nominal shipping charges, but in comparison to the almost $2000 it will normally cost it was certainly a good deal.

Part of the proposition is you need to test drive a monthly newsletter BUT Mike allows you to cancel at any time and still keep the Butterfly Marketing 2.0 package. I suspect most people won’t.

He’s a shrewd marketer that Mike Filsaime and I can understand why Alex Jeffreys admires him so much.

Another shrewd marketer is Bob Jenkins aka Bob-The-Teacher. Incase you’re wondering, YES,  he really is a qualified teacher in the offline world, and has cleverly brought out Discover Butterfly Marketing  to teach people how to use the product.

That’s what I call timing.

Of course, it was inevitable as he was one of the respected marketers I was talking about earlier and had  bought the original version. Clearly he’s used it to good effect as he already has many products to his name, including Discover C Panel, DiscoverSocial Networking and Squidoo Secrets

Another  person who works along the same lines is Andrew Fox.  This wily chap doesn’t always promote a new product when it launches.l Instead he creates a product to teach you how to use whatever is currently flavour of the month.  He explains about it in his Guru Slayer product and because I respect him I’ve made this video.  It’s not good, but it’s all mine including the poem.

Now, here’s a question – Do you think I had at least one brain cell?

Take care

Jean Shaw
